DUBAI: Le Méridien Al Aqah Beach Resort sponsored the Tour de France Party 2010 at Wolfi’s Bike Shop in Dubai on Thursday. Over 100 cycling enthusiasts from the Dubai Roadsters Cycling Group gathered to watch the live telecast of the Stage 17 of the Tour de France. Guests watched the 174kms stretch of the endurance race over three major mountains that finished at Tourmalet, the famous mountain for cyclists. Lasting over four hours, this route provided them the perfect opportunity to take in not only the skill of the competitors but also the scenic beauty of the terrain. Read more
